Schneider Electric Wireless Thermal Sensor Development Case Study
Case study of Schneider Electric partnering with Flex to co-develop and manufacture the Easergy TH110 wireless thermal sensor for continuous monitoring of electrical connections.
Schneider Electric required a manufacturing partner to accelerate development of a self-powered wireless thermal sensor for monitoring cable, bus bar, and breaker connections. Flex provided design, mechanical integration, RF expertise, and scaled production from prototype to 15,000 units per month. The project achieved market introduction in 10 months through global design-to-manufacturing transfer from Sweden to Indonesia.
