Oberaigner Powertrain implemented the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform including CATIA, ENOVIA, SIMULIA and 3DVIA Composer to support development of a six-seat business jet across sites in Austria and Germany. The solution enabled single-source PLM data access for internal teams and suppliers, design reuse, version control, and early-stage technical documentation. The implementation reduced data transfer overhead and supported concurrent engineering workflows.

Key takeaways

Multi-site teams access shared PLM data without file transfers using ENOVIA Version 6

CATIA enables early design verification before SIMULIA FEA analysis

3DVIA Composer maintains exploded views and documentation independent of model changes

New employees locate and reuse existing designs through intuitive ENOVIA search

Suppliers integrate component data directly into the master design model
