ENOVIA V6 PLM Implementation at Universidad de La Plata
Case study showing how UNLP integrated ENOVIA V6, CATIA and SIMULIA to train engineering students on real aerospace and renewable energy projects.
The Faculty of Engineering and Aeronautics Department at National University of La Plata deployed Dassault Systemes PLM solutions to create a live laboratory for students. Using ENOVIA V6 for collaboration and program management, CATIA for design, and SIMULIA for structural analysis, students contributed to the SAC-D Aquarius satellite instruments and a medium-power wind turbine. The platform enabled version control, IP protection, and standardized workflows while reducing physical prototypes.
ENOVIA V6 supported live collaboration and change management on the SAC-D satellite project
CATIA and SIMULIA enabled virtual design and structural validation of satellite components and wind turbines
IP protection and access controls were implemented for multi-partner aerospace work
Physical prototypes were reduced by validating designs in virtual models
Curriculum aligned with industry requirements for PLM, simulation and systems engineering
